CREATING MONSTER SMILES & SPREADING KINDNESS IS WHAT I DO

Hi! I'm Joe. I donate fun pillowcases to hospitalised and foster care children for them to keep.

I started Monster Smiles to show the children in hospitals and foster care that people genuinely care about what they are going through.

I have Crohn's Disease. When I was 12, I had 20cm of my bowel removed and a stomach feed tube inserted.

In hospital I received a 7 piece Lego Batman from a volunteer. I received this kind gesture at a time in my life when I was very sad, depressed and overwhelmed.

The difference this mini Batman figure made to my emotional state was indescribable. Someone genuinely cared about me! I decided I wanted to help other children feel special too.

Monster Smiles is my hobby and it feels great knowing that I am truly making a difference to children in need of smiles.

When a person buys a pillowcase for themselves, I donate another to a child in need of a smile (or one can be donated without a purchase for $7).
